Rhonda A. Tietjen

Rhonda A. Tietjen is a Senior Associate with the Firm and has been practicing in the field of immigration and nationality law since 1999. Her practice is concentrated in business immigration, and includes extensive nonimmigrant and immigrant work with researchers and scientists, including O-1 and EB-1 petitions. In addition, her practice includes working with physicians and other healthcare workers on both immigrant and nonimmigrant issues, including preparing J waiver applications. Ms. Tietjen has practiced immigration law at large corporate law firms in Boston and Washington, DC, where she has counseled numerous individual and corporate clients regarding all aspects of employment-based immigration issues.

Immediately prior to joining the Firm, she spent more than three years as part of the in-house legal department at a biopharmaceutical company located in Cambridge, MA, where she was responsible for a full-service immigration practice, as well as working with issues of employment law, deemed export compliance, I-9 compliance, and various types of contract negotiation. Ms. Tietjen continues to practice in the areas of worksite compliance, including conducting I-9 audits. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served as the Massachusetts State Workforce Agency Liaison for the New England Chapter of AILA. Ms. Tietjen is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.
