Why RS?
Ross Silverman LLP (hereinafter "RS" or "the Firm") was founded on the principle that individuals deserve high quality immigration legal services delivered in an expeditious and cost-effective manner. The Firm continues to strive toward this goal and provides sound legal advice and offers innovative approaches to the most complicated legal challenges faced by our clients.
The Firm has grown to be a nationally-recognized leader in business immigration. Our client base is diverse, including academic and research institutions, national and international corporations, major hospitals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations in a wide variety of industries. In addition, we have an active practice with individual clients, including those seeking political asylum, naturalization, family-based immigration benefits and those with criminal issues or facing removal from the United States.
Our ability to provide our clients with first rate expertise in all areas of immigration practice is grounded on our team-based approach to the practice of immigration law and our philosophy of providing comprehensive advice through foresight and strategic planning. All of the attorneys at RS are committed professionals who work collaboratively, sharing their respective opinions, expertise, and best practices. Supported by our staff of legal assistants, we are able to offer dedicated client support while drawing upon Firm-wide knowledge and experience.
RS understands the importance of delivering its immigration services in a prompt and expeditious fashion. Our attorneys and legal support staff strive to be readily available to respond to client inquiries and attentive to each of our clients' particular needs.
In the business immigration context, the Firm strives to reduce the burden often placed on HR personnel and other company staff to decipher the immigration system, rules and filing procedures. We offer training to our corporate clients in relevant areas of immigration law and keep them constantly abreast of all relevant changes in existing policies and procedures implemented by the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Labor, Justice and State. We also offer training and audits in the areas of I-9 and worksite compliance and enforcement.
RS further seeks to help our clients create efficiencies of scale and maximize opportunities to reduce expenditures on immigration-related legal matters. We work primarily on a flat fee schedule, which allows us to communicate freely with our clients and develop an understanding of particular immigration issues on an as-needed basis, without concern for hourly billing rates. The result is an immediate cost-saving benefit over firms that charge hourly rates.
